Sri Lankan HandiCraft Board, also known by its brand name “LAKSALA” signed their Franchise Agreements with SALA global for the UAE , Japan & China during the months of September to November 2021.
The signing ceremonies were held in the presence of the State Minister of Batik , Handloom and Local Apparel products, Hon. Dhayasiri Jayasekara.
The Agreement for UAE was signed on the 15th of September 2021 at LAKSALA Head Office & Showroom at Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 3. The Agreement for Japan was signed on the 6th of October 2021 at LAKSALA Showroom outlet at the Museum Cafe Premises, Colombo 7.
The Agents appointed by SALA for each country as the Ambassador for Japan, Mr. Sanjiv Gunasekara and Ambassador for China, Dr. Palitha Kohona also spoke over Zoom during the ceremonies.
