The Dhakmachakra Mudra also known as the ” Wheel of Dharma ” symbolizes the first teachings of Lord Buddha after his Enlightenment in the Deer Park at Sarnath. This mudra requires the use of both hands. Two circles (wheels) are formed when the right index finger touches the right thumb and the left index finger touches the left thumb. In front of the right palm, which is pointing outward, the left palm is facing inside. This mudra is typically held in front of the heart.
